This collection consists of records belonging to Adam L. He held many positions during his tenure with the Potsdam Peoples and Citizens National Bank, including being on the Board of Directors and Vice President of the bank. These records include a typed list of stockholders, a report of earnings and dividends of the Citizens National Bank, 1942, and correspondence related to the merger of the Peoples and Citizens National Bank in Potsdam during the 1930s to 1940s. The merger was finally announced in the Courier & Freeman in July 1944. Of interest are some correspondences about the merger between Robert H. Byrns, former President of Citizens National Bank in Potsdam, and former United States Congressman Bertrand Snell.
