The James M. Cannon Papers contain a scrapbook, newspapers, and correspondence related to the public service career of James M. Cannon. Specifically, the collection includes: Thirty-four issues of the Herald-Recorder, November 1947- July 1948. One scrapbook of newspaper clippings created by James M. Cannon, November 1947-April 1948. (Clippings believed to be from the Herald-Recorder and presumed to have been written by Cannon.)
